Unfortunately Laurie Brown's distance calculator seems to be solely based on the 2D-info contained in your map. Therefore all calculated distances/travel times will be too short, as all stars are simply projected down/up to the galactic plane. In some cases the resulting numbers are over 200% off (back checked with Celestia).
